Animation: Flipbook

I made a digitalized flipbook, of a spaceship blasting off, on Windows Movie Maker, it was meant to be a paper flipbook.

    Pupose:
I was supposed to create a flipbook on paper, but it was decided that paper is to flimsy so my flipbook was scanned and imported onto Windows Movie Maker to create a digitalized flipbook. Doing he flipbook I learned how hard it is to create an animation. It takes a lot of time, effort, and precision. If your drawings are not perfect and are misplaced slightly or they are not complete replicas of the rest of the drawings then you have a problem. I got a taste of what the people who work with animation for a living, but what I had to do will not even compare to what they have to do.

    Tools:
    Windows Movie Maker

    Comments:
I like the outcome of my drawings. I think whenever you work so long and hard at something it is fun to see the product. Makes me feel good that I can accomplish such a thing. I can see where the drawing is not perfect copies of each other. So when they transition I can see the spaceship shifting slightly in every frame. It took me maybe three days to finish all my drawings and the film took about a second. I can now see that it takes a lot of work to make an animated movie.
